“Travail!”

In 2023, I joined a duo of artists to participate in the creation of an immersive theater piece including ludic mechanisms. We produced a prototype at Le Lieu Unique in Nantes as part of the Chimère residency program.

Spectator-players were encouraged, via their phones, to produce value by working on connected sports machines. The piece invites us to watch ourselves sink into a productivist spiral where our bodies are activated according to the demands of the algorithm.
