Cybernetic Meadow is an aesthetic exploration of the mechanisms that enable non-native plants to survive in botanical gardens. These images are juxtaposed with the native landscapes of the Dutch coast – which are themselves regularly maintained for their protective function. The film seeks to show that technology is everywhere in our landscapes, blending with their beauty.
